The Partnership Agreement between Local Government and Scottish Government
On Friday 30th June 2023, representatives from Scottish Local Government and the Scottish Government signed an historical Partnership Agreement.
The signing of the Partnership Agreement, known as ‘The Verity House Agreement, signified a shared vision for a more collaborative approach to delivering our shared priorities for the people of Scotland.
There were eleven signatories in total representing Local Government and the Scottish Government including COSLA President, Councillor Shona Morrison and the First Minister, The Right Honourable Humza Yousaf.
