The Promise Progress Framework has been published today (18th December). This is a joint framework developed by COSLA, the Scottish Government and The Promise Scotland.
Scotland made a promise in 2020 that all care experienced children and young people would grow up loved, safe and respected by 2030. This framework is the first step in telling the story of progress. It brings together national data into one place to help us answer the question of how Scotland is doing towards keeping the promise.
This forms one part of The Promise Story of Progress which asks how Scotland is doing, how organisations are doing and whether the care community feels the impact. Work will continue to ensure we can answer all three questions thoroughly to provide as full a picture as possible of the progress towards keeping the promise.
