Commenting this afternoon (Thursday) on the publication of the Scottish Government Public Sector Pay Policy for 2024-25,  a COSLA Spokesperson said:  “The Scottish Government’s Public Sector Pay Policy, which has been published today, is a useful benchmark for our own Local Government pay discussions in terms of expectations around what public sector pay settlements should look like over the next three years.

“By comparison, the current pay offer on the table for our SJC Trade Union Colleagues is a strong one.”
