16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence
From 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to 10 December (Human Rights Day) COSLA marks the UN’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign to end violence against women and girls.
This year, national activities and those taking place across 32 local authority areas, coordinated by the multi-agency Violence Against Women Partnerships, will continue to promote the theme: ‘Imagine a Scotland Without Violence Against Women and Girls’.
The national calendar of events, facilitated by the Improvement Service, showcases the incredible variety of work happening both online and in-person across Scotland during this campaign.
