The COSLA Excellence Awards celebrate the very best in Scottish local government.
As in previous years, judging the awards is undertaken in three parts. Teams of expert assessors from across local government have already been working to evaluate and provide feedback on each application, and a short list of the top three applications from each category has been agreed.

It is now time for the Excellence Awards judges to take over and consider a presentation from each of our finalists and identify an overall winner for each category.
The awards criteria are designed to celebrate innovative and effective responses to the major challenges that councils and their partners face.
Our website, www.awards.cosla.gov.uk provides more information on the process and showcases our previous winners and has been viewed over 250,000 times.
If your project is listed above then CONGRATULATIONS you have made it to the final stage of the process. COSLA officers will be in touch in the coming days to organise a time for you to present your project to our judging panel.
The judging process takes place on Wednesday 18th September and Thursday 19th September 2019 between 11:30 and 16:30 in the COSLA Conference Centre, Verity House, 19 Haymarket Yards, Edinburgh, EH12 5BH.
Our judging panel includes a number of experts from across the media, local and national government, the Scottish Parliament and the private sector. Each of our panellists are well placed to spot the innovative and leading practices in all of the applications.
