SJC Red Book (2024)
The Scottish Joint Council (SJC) has reviewed the National Agreement on Pay and Conditions of Service for Local Government Employees (Red Book).
Version 2, agreed by SJC Joint Secretaries on 7th June 2024, updates the 2013 version with changes to the text agreed in previous circulars. Minor formatting and erratic numbering issues were also corrected.
The revised version is now published below, which is now publicly available on our website for easy access.
